Happy Monday!
I am beyond excited that Pat & I will be home in Pittsburgh in 10 days! Can you believe that Christmas is so close? I need to finish my online shopping pronto and then finish wrapping presents! I can’t wait to see family and friends back home, however, after this terrible cold front in Winston this past weekend, Pittsburgh’s twenty degree snow-flurry weather is not looking pretty for me. My mom asks me all the time if I remember where I was born and raised! I can’t help but slip in a complaint or two when I am out walking Ruby each morning talking to her on the phone! I have to cautiously “edit” my responses pertaining the weather, because I know it’s 10 times worst back in PA! I’m a girl that needs her 70 degree weather and constant sunshine!
I think there is always something so special about a black and white outfit mixed with red during the Holiday season. I think it always makes a statement and always looks refreshing. I am totally bummed that these buffalo plaid pants are sold out from Old Navy, however, they do come in several solids and other prints. See their leopard print & polka dot here. These can be wardrobe staples that live through each season, just switch your blouse to be more seasonally appropriate. I have to tell you, when I find pants that fit me well, I typically buy them in multiples. You can never have too many pants that are perfect for the office, or for dressing up your blouse to wear out. This “Harper” fit from Old Navy is a great cut. This pant runs true to size and they actually stay up on the hips. There is nothing else that drives me more insane than when I have to constantly adjust my pants and pull them up. No one looks cute doing that. Hah!
As Christmas quickly approaches, be sure to alleviate some stress on figuring out the perfect gift for your friends and loved ones. I have created multiple gift guides that I hope can be a huge help to you!
See them here: Gift Guide for Women (or you!) here, for men here, party outfit ideas here, Gifts under $50 here.
One more thing, I also have worn several holiday looks on my blog that might give you some inspiration for Christmas or another Holiday you celebrate! You can find these previous outfit post at the top of my blog, hover over “Holiday Shopping” and you’ll see a drop down menu of Holiday looks & the gift guides I just told you about in the above!
Isn’t it just the most wonderful time of the year?
Take care y’all!
xx, Brittany Ann
