Hey guys! I still have so many photos from our wedding trip coming your way! I am sharing our wedding reception photos this upcoming Monday! I had said before in our wedding ceremony post here, one of the deciding factors to have our wedding in the region of La Romana is because of it’s proximity to Altos de Chavon. Altos de Chavon is this town that was created to look like a sixteenth century mediterranean village, similar to the architecture and style of Santo Domingo. I found this place randomly one day researching the DR and I immediately knew I had to visit and at all cost, Pat and I were going to have to photograph there! I tell him at least twice a week how much I want to go back! We did a “first look” session of my reception dress (he didn’t see my ceremony dress until I walked down the pier to marry him!) here at Altos- I literally can not wait to share those images! I’m in the current process of having them printed out and sent to me and I can not wait!
Anyways, photos today were shot by our same wedding photographer, Gaston, from puntacanaphotographer.com and I just love how intimate and special these are. It’s truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen and Gaston is such an amazing photographer! Pat doesn’t smile a ton for the camera, but these images just make my heart melt!
My maxi dress is from Lulus. Have you ever ordered from there? I love their clothing! I find it to be different than what everyone else seems to be wearing! I did link more similar dresses + Pat’s outfit in the below widget-simply click to shop!
Would love to know if you have ever heard of Altos da Chavon or if you are now planning on visiting!
xx, Brittany Ann
