Sharing my 2021 everyday make up as these are my most tried and true products I use on a daily basis! But first, Happy New Year! I can’t believe we have moved into the year of 2021! Last year was very trying for all of us. Every person in this world had been directly impacted by the Covid-19 Pandemic. Today, most of us know someone who personally had Covid-19 or had further health complications because of the virus. We were forced to shift gears, putting major milestones, celebrations and events at a complete standstill. Many of us felt a separation we have never felt before. While the world is certainly not rid of this virus, I do hope that each and every one of you can acknowledge that any major change in life can bring a new perspective. I recognize I was forced to slow down, to enjoy more time with Pat and to enjoy being “home” and more “present”. I wish 2021 brings you peace, happiness and strong health. I wanted to share my favorite everyday tried and true beauty products. It has been a while since I last shared what products I have been using and loving! (See previous beauty post here, some of these post are so super old, my gosh!)
Foundation: Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation I wear the shade “210” in winter, darker shade “285” in the summer! I have a natural redness to my face, this foundation covers so beautifully without being super thick and heavy! On days where I am not doing much of anything, I will mix a few drops with my moisturizer for an even lighter coverage!
Eyeshadow Palette: Charlotte Tillbury Pillowtalk Instant Eye Palette This palette is so pretty in person! The pigment and shimmer is stunning! My mom and I actually both splurged and purchase this palette before Christmas! I can’t wait to play with it more and share some looks! Current everyday faves: 1st & 2nd shades of “Day” and the 1st in “Desk”.
Blush: Milani Baked Blush in shade Luminoso. This is the prettiest, softest color and I love how it adds just a bit of color back into my face! You can get 15+ blush and bronzer shades here, each less than $7!
Bronzer: I switch back and forth between this Physican’s Formula bronzer in shade “Deep” & this Benefit Cosmetic’s Hoola bronzer in shade “standard matte”. Both are amazing every day bronzer to give you dimension and a warmer glow!
Lipstick & Lip Liners: I could write an entire blog post on my favorite lipsticks and liners. I feel like I tried a million this past year! My absolute favorite combo: this Charlotte Tillbury Matte Lipstick in shade “Pillowtalk” & its matching lip liner! Favorite drug store lipsticks here, these are Milani Cosmetics and are less than $6! I love “Matte Darling” & “Dulce Carmelo”! Can also be purchased from Amazon, Walmart, Ulta & Milani Cosmetics!
I also randomly picked up this Milk Cosmetics Mini Lip & this Laneige Lip Mask. Both are super hydrating and I use daily. The Lip Mask I use nightly, right before bed and the Milk Cosmetics Mini Lip is great for having something on your lips for a bit of color! I usually apply it after I do my makeup and then right before I leave the house I’ll apply liner and lipstick!
Brushes: These Artis brushes are a splurge but I use mine every single day. The Oval 7 blends my foundation seamlessly and perfectly into my skin, it is the absolute smoothest application process. I couldn’t recommend it more!
Brows: This Benefit Cosmetic’s Gimme Brow Gel in “Warm Medium Brown” & this Elf Cosmetic’s Eyebrow pencil in “Neutral Brown” & “Taupe” are my two go to everyday! The Gimme Brow gel gives my brows a bit of a fluffy fear to them when you apply and brush upwards!
Concealer: I feel like everyone on Instagram raves about this Tarte Cosmetics Shape Tape concealer and boy am I glad I tried it! It’s my favorite concealer, brightening up the underneath area of my eyes. I also apply to the lower portion of my face, adding a bit of coverage over the area that tends to redden through out the day! This concealer does not crease- LOVE LOVE LOVE! I wear shade ” 27H”.
