When it comes to blush pink, I will always vote yes, no matter the season. Blush pink is one of those colors that can really take on a life of its own, depending on the accessories you style it with. I styled it here for Fall with these black leopard heels and this handbag, however, come Spring and I would most likely switch it up a bit. I would opt for some good nude wedges, a white handbag or perhaps a neon colored bag, and some bold jewelry! I think in the Winter I would wear black tights, over the knee boots (these are my favorite pair & I have my eyes on this pair here) and add a nice dress peacoat to pair with it. I am a strong supporter that if you love something so much, you can always find new ways to wear it again and again!
I spent this past weekend visiting my best friend in Frederick, Maryland. It’s this little quaint and historic town, only an hour from DC and an hour from Baltimore. I think it’s so cool to be in such close proximity to two totally different cities. We spent Saturday hiking at the Great Falls- Ruby was a star climbing up and over these massive rocks for miles on end! Sunday we explored historic Georgetown- lots of great shopping and coffee shops! If you are ever in the area, you need to grab a pastry and a coffee from Bake&Wired. It was yummy and was located along the canal which was really cool to walk along! Monday we were going to drive in to the inner Baltimore Harbor but decided to save that for a day in which we had more hours to explore! We grabbed Rubybear and explored Frederick some more instead!
I decided to come home to Pittsburgh for a few days before heading back to Pat in North Carolina! My mom, my mother in law to be, and I looked at a few venues near my hometown! Tomorrow we are looking at a few venues in downtown Pittsburgh! Would love to hear from you if you are in the area or have been to a wedding in Pittsburgh! Pat and I do not have a date in mind what so ever, so looking at the venues seem a bit overwhelming! All of the women are like, when, what, how, why, and I’m like I don’t even know what I want!
