Pat recently moved to Winston Salem (NC) about three months ago. It’s located 40 minutes west of Greensboro where he previously lived, and is about 1 ½ hours north of Charlotte. Winston is an older city, known for its tobacco factories that now have been converted to swanky loft style apartments and offices. It has a cool art scene with lots of cute little shops and trendy restaurants. It is not, by an means, near size to Charlotte, however, it’s a cool little city. Pat and I love driving through the different neighborhoods with sprawling old southern homes. It’s magical!
Pat and I decided to head out and explore a bit! This is by far, one of the most, casual outfits I have worn on my blog, but I like to switch it up a bit! Strappy details are a big trend for this Fall and I believe we will continue to see more and more of this as we proceed through winter and into spring.
Pat and I grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. We love our sports (Go Steelers!!) so why the NY hat you may ask? I loveeeee NYC. I studied abroad in Florence Italy my fall semester of my junior year. While I was there, we went and stayed in Paris for a week. While I was on top of the Eiffel Tower, I began talking to this young woman. We connected, turns out she was Assistant Designer of Textiles to Oscar de la Renta. Six months later, I moved to NYC for the summer to do an internship in the PR department for Oscar. It was amazing! So no, not a huge baseball fan, just a lover for that city that never sleeps!
Happy Monday!
