I love how Fall is all about taking your favorite pieces from the summer and throwing on some layers to carry it into the new season. This royal blue gingham dress is so classic; I can always add a different cardigan, a different pair of shoes, different accessories, and it can look like a totally new outfit! That is what I did here with this Vineyard Vines dress. I threw on this thick cardi, added a scarf to keep me warm and paired it with flats since I knew I was going to be walking around a lot! We had such beautiful weekend here in Charlotte this past weekend! It was perfect temperatures to be outside the entire time! Pat and I spent our weekend outdoors running around with Ruby, and then we went to a haunted house with my best friend and her boyfriend, and then Sunday we spent our time outside at a hot air balloon festival.
