Tie Dye Tank (Ivy&Leo, similar here & here) // Jeans // Tory Burch bag // Lariat Necklace // Stone Bauble Necklace (similar here) // Kendra Scott Ring // Mules (similar here & here )
I’m dying to wear some sweaters and jeans with booties, but the reality is, it’s still 90 degrees outside. The sweater, jean, bootie thing is super hard to photograph when I’m sweating the entire time! It’s supposedly cooling down next week, so perhaps there is an opportunity there! The seventies trend has been in full swing for a while now. I contribute this tie dye look to it; it has that sort of wild, youthful vibe while modernizing it a bit with the white jeans. My top is from the southern boutique Ivy&Leo, be sure to check out all of their new fall pieces that continually lands on their website. (Don’t forget to enter “Brittany10” to save 10% at checkout). I know there is that rule that “you can’t wear white after Labor Day”. I am not a fan of that rule in particular, nor most wardrobe, styling rules. I think white jeans are totally appropriate for spring, summer, fall. Would I wear my white jeans with a vibrant neon colored tank top in October? No, I think it’s just how you style it. The season is changing so as long as you are wearing more neutral, darker colors with your white jeans and most likely some booties or flats instead of sandals, I think you’ll look cute and seasonally appropriate!
Anything new with you today? I would love to hear!
