Hello there! Happy Thursday! I’m sharing a new online boutique that I have recently discovered! This plaid cardigan comes from Gray Monroe and you must believe me, it is so soft and so cozy. I was over the moon when it came in the mail and felt how soft it was! There is nothing that beats a cozy cardigan on a cold day! Do you have your go to pieces that you throw on as soon as you get home from work or out of the shower? I do, in fact, Pat and I joke that we live in these loved, cozy pieces and are surprised when one another throws an actual outfit on! Hey, you have to be comfortable when you are at home!
Did you watch Hairspray last night? I saw this musical live in New York City when I was young, and then when the movie came out with Zac Efron (insert heart emoji) I watched it nonstop, so of course, last night we watched it live. It’s always just so interesting to be taken back into time and to watch what was the norm of that time period. To see a group of people separated by a rope due to their skin is just mind boggling. I think we have come a long way as a society, however, it makes me think how can we come farther? Watching Hairspray last night has made me think I need to challenge myself; what thoughts do I have where I am quick to judge a person or a situation and classify it as not normal, or not good enough? Or do we justify something as a way to make it seem what we did or say was the “norm”? This world is filled with so many good and amazing things, we all need to remember that it’s also filled with people of different colors, shapes, personalities, people with so many different talents and strengths! Take a moment to question yourself: Do you have areas in your life (or even your thoughts that live in your mind) of where you can insert more positivity and be more accepting of others and other things?
