Hello! Let us agree that this outfit can’t get any preppier! Pink and navy is one of my favorite color combinations. It always looks classy and sweet! All of these pieces I am wearing are from last season or are treasured items I have had for a while now, however, I can promise you, you can build a similar item with the pieces you already have or with the similar items I have linked for you!
Let’s start with my blouse; it might look familiar to you because I wore this blouse in my first post on Carolina B! See it here. Lilly Pulitzer always has great basic silk tanks, cotton tanks, and even sweater tanks that are all perfect for layering. I highly recommend you invest in a few of these staples.
How stinkin’ adorable is this navy peplum blazer from Vineyard Vines? I had my eye on it for months when it was first out in stores, and let me tell you, perseverance won. I waited and waited until it finally went on sale and snatched it right away! Navy is always a good way to switch up the wardrobe, it goes with as much as black does, but yet always looks new and refreshing!
My pants are part of the “skinny mini” collection from Gap. Gap always has a variety of prints and solids, and I also love how they have added small details to their pants like this pair with the zipper at the hip and ankles. This pair is one of my favorites; It is navy blue with small white polka dots- classic! You could wear these with a bright blazer or a neon blouse! Oh, they fit nicely, true to size!
I’m telling you, where something bright like this, and heading back to work after a long weekend doesn’t seem so bad!
xx, B
