I hope today brings you a wonderful day! Can you believe it? Valentine’s Day is onlya few days away! Do you have any plans? Ruby and I will be in Greensboro, and unfortunately, as it stands, Pat isn’t feeling well, so it might be a grilled cheese and soup kind of Valentine’s Day dinner. I won’t mind, I’m just glad to be able to spend the weekend together because this long distance thing is annoying! It has been six of our eight years together- too long. A lot of people don’t seem to understand long distance, or immediately claim they “can’t do it”, but surely if you know the ending, then the journey is worthwhile. One day we will be together in the same town with our baby girl Ruby! She goes nuts every time she sees him, it is the cutest thing!
I love the color of this dress. Pink is one of my favorite colors (shocking) and I love the waisted bow detail. It makes for a great fancy dinner for Valentine’s (now I will be swapping for my favorite sweats and oversized tee while I take care of Pat) however, I think it makes for a great dress for a Spring or early Summer wedding. You can really dress it up to be formal, or downplay it and keep your accessories simple for a more subtle vibe.
