Happy Friday girls!
Pinch me I do not know where the time has gone since April 17th when Pat and I said “I do”! I just feel each year I get older, that year goes by quicker. I can’t grasp any sense of time anymore hahah! It occurred to me recently that I have so much of the wedding left to share. Including some my most favorite photos….mine and Pat’s first look! We just booked a little honeymoon at the end of August, just for the two of us to get away and relax. Since our wedding was destination, Pat and I had talked about saving up and doing a big anniversary trip for our one year. An opportunity came up for us to do a little getaway so I am really looking forward to that!
I shared some of the girls’ gifts in this post and this post, but I wanted to follow up with a few fun images from the trip in which I gifted the girls a few more things! The biggest thing I have learned during this destination wedding planning process is you have to plan and plan and plan and prepare so far in advance! I mean, when Pat and I go there, I was like oh my gosh do we have this, do we have that, it’s a complete whirl-wind! I do plan on sharing some insight on that, to help you girls out there who are planning a destination wedding or thinking about it! That post will be coming up soon!
I had planned to give the girls some tropical items like these custom tumblrs, these palm print kimonos which were perfect to wear over our suits and I knew I wanted some kind of “Mer-maid” tanks for my “brides-maids! I wanted something more sentimental for them as well, so I got them each a custom drawing of me and each girl in our dresses. Jes from JesMarried is awesome by the way! Such a sweetheart and oh my goodness- so talented!
