Oh you guys, Fall is in full swing here in Winston and isn’t it just so beautiful? I love hearing the leaves “crunch” under my feet as I take Ruby for a long walk, looking at all of the color in the tree line. I love Fall because its crisp air is perfect for wearing layers but not too cold for hibernating those bare legs. You guys know I love dresses and skirts and I have especially been loving them when they are in a corduroy fabrication. In case you missed it, I wore this cream corduroy skirt and styled it with a blush bodysuit and periwinkle blue cardigan in this post here. I talked about how to style pastels in the Fall season and I loved how this color combination turned out! I also just posted this copper colored corduroy skirt on the blog where I paired it with a black top and black belt and black over the knee boots. It’s one of my favorite outfits at the moment so be sure to see it here. I talked about how women of all ages could wear this outfit and gave tips on toning it down if you’re a bit older than me!
Today’s corduroy dress is brought to you by Urban Outfitters. It is a super fitted dress, I am wearing my usual size medium 8 in it. It definitely hugs in the hips and through the butt. I like how it fits me but if you’re a little more self conscious in those areas then I recommend sizing up a full size! This dress is currently on sale for 30% off-making it just under $50. I think it would be a great Thanksgiving Day’s Outfit, you can always pair a thin turtleneck like this one or a regular long sleeve like this one underneath to give you more coverage without wearing a jacket. Speaking of jackets, I have had mine for literally five years. I got this in college at the local Target and it has held up to many many wears. I linked a similar one from Target here, which I actually like more because of the details on the sleeves! Target has a promotion currently going on: Spend $50 receive a $10 gift card, spend $100 receive $25. We all know how quickly you can spend at Target. The place takes everyone’s money! 🙂
