Hi! I hope you had a wonderful Halloween Monday night. Pat and I didn’t do anything exciting. We live in a big apartment complex and they had a party for the children on Saturday, but on Monday night we think the kids go to an actual neighborhood! Pat and I have been pretty adamant about our gym routine so we stuck to it Monday night. We go Monday through Friday once Pat gets home from work and then on Sundays as well. Monday night after we worked out and showered, we stopped by a friend’s house but all of the kids were done trick or treating by the time we got there!
I am in love with this cardigan from Pineapple Lace Boutique and I am super bummed it has since sold out! It’s just the softest and easiest thing to wear. It feels very similar on as the other cardigan I wore from Pineapple Lace a few weeks back. You can see that post here. They offer a variety of clothing all that has a very comfortable, whimsical feel! One of the things I like is they offer free shipping after $35 or a flat rate of $3 if you spend under the $35. Nothing makes me more angry than complicated shipping!
A funny story about this bag. I bought this bag in the San Lorenzo leather market in Florence, Italy when I had studied abroad my junior year in fashion school. Flash forward 7 months or so, and I was interning in the PR office of Oscar de la Renta. I got off the elevator one day and this lady was walking out of the Oscar office and she stopped me and said “Oh honey, I just love your Birkin”. I was speechless and confused because here I was this intern in NYC afraid of running out of money before the end of summer and this woman thinks I am carrying a Birkin. I should have asked her if she wanted to buy it from me right then and there and put the money towards my student loans! Hah! Anyway, while I see the resemblance, I just absolutely loved how spacious this bag was and the quality it was when I found it as a student in the leather market!
Happy Wednesday! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!
xx, Brittany Ann
