Buongiorno!
We had one of the most wonderful mornings in the Amalfi Coast last week. We took one of Hotel Poseidon’s vintage convertibles out for a spin, starting in Positano and driving along the Amalfi Coast! The three of us kept saying we felt like we were in a video game because driving in the Amalfi Coast is so extreme to how it is back home. The roads are so narrow, some points only one car can past at a time and the cliff drops to the one side of you. It seems to be so dangerous but apparently, our first driver whom picked us up at the train station when we first arrived said that there was a system and you have to understand the system to be able to drive. I tried figuring out this “system”, wondering if it was whoever got to a certain spot first would go, whose car was smaller would go, who was more aggressive would go, etc., however, I did not figure it out! I just knew I certainly could not drive there!
We wish it would have been a little more sunny at this particular time when we had the beetle, but it was still so much fun! At any point of driving, you look to the side and it’s just the most expansive, amazing view. Honestly, the photos does not do it justice. You have to go see it for yourself. It’s simply breath taking!
My stripe a-line skirt was perfect for the warm day, riding along the coast and then later walking around! Navy and white is always a classic go to color combination. I like to add a pop of color to it like I had done with this pink Rebecca Minkoff bag. This bag was perfect for the trip. It is so light and fits my necessities: phone, wallet, passport, chapstick and a lipstick! I love that you can wear it as a cross body too!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Happy Friday!
Arrivederci!
xx, Brittany Ann
