Hi guys! I am excited to share my stay at the beautiful Hutchinson Shores Beach Resort & Spa with you today. My blogger friend, Savilla, who runs Vogue for Breakfast, joined me for this trip & we literally had so much fun! Savilla and I met on instagram about two years ago and have been really close friends ever since. It’s awesome to share this journey together as we are learning and growing our businesses on our own! We flew into Palm Beach International and rented a car to drive 48 miles (one hour) north to Jensen, Beach Florida. The drive was super easy and the highway was lined with palm trees the entire way from the airport to the resort!
Our Rooms: We stayed in the Oceanfront Two Queens Room at Hutchinson Shores Beach Resort & Spa and let me tell you, it was super nice. The design of the resort carried through to the rooms. You were instantly greeted with a coastal modern vibe. It’s really in the details at this resort every single element has been thoroughly thought through. Take a look at the sliding door in the image below- there is a little window there (you can’t actually see through it!) like you’re truly in a boat at sea! There was plenty of space for the two of us and the beds were really soft and comfortable. Each night I got a full 8 hours of deep sleep!
The Pools & Beach:
Hutchinson Shores Beach Resort & Spa has direct access to the beach. We were surprised how quiet and private the beach was at the resort. There is a public beach further down the beach. The beach at the resort was nice and wide and stretched as far as you could see, there’s no way it would ever be crowded! The resort has two pools which both boast really different and cool features. The Dune Pool is centrally located in the resort, sits behind the Drift Kitchen + Bar restaurant and has views of the Atlantic Ocean. This is the pool that takes zero seconds to order another margarita if you know what I mean!
The other pool we spent time at is called the Reflections Pool. It’s tucked behind the resort and features a secluded jacuzzi, lots of cabanas, day beds and a huge pool. The pool bar is conveniently located only a few steps from the pool so you can easily order some drinks and food as you wish!
The resort has a short little pier from the Dune Pool to the beach. You can ask for a chair and umbrella to be set up for you or you can simply just access the beach from this entrance and come and go as you please. I love walking along the water every time I am at the beach. I always feel being close to water makes you feel better!
Food & Drinks:
I promise you, you can’t go hungry here! There is always something available through out the day. The main restaurant is the Drift Kitchen + Bar, it is where we ordered this breakfast spread in the below photos. The food was out of this world delicious. I loved Savilla’s french toast so much that I ended up ordering it a few days later! We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here as well, with its breathtaking view of the ocean and fresh food, who wouldn’t love that! One thing that is really cool about the resort is that they make all of their own noodles in house! They also have a pizza oven and occasionally hold classes for guests to sign up to make their own pizzas!
There are two outdoor bars: Dune Beach Bar & Reflections Pool Bar at Hutchinson Shores Beach Resort & Spa which makes it super easy to order food and drinks as you go about spending your day outside. Savilla and I had lunch on the cabanas one day, we ate nachos, pizza and shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos-oh my goodness- they were amazing. Literally so fresh and yummy!
Other Things to Note:
Spa: The resort has their own spa with ocean themed treatments. We didn’t utilize the spa but I know they offer massages, reflexology treatments and facials. Every time we walked past the Spa, we were like …..oh my gosh, smells heavenly!
Fitness Center: The resort has a small fitness center for those that want to get a quick, simple work out in! I actually didn’t work out this trip, I almost always do when I go somewhere but I was in between work out plans and diet plans that I decided to take a break!
Bottled Water / Snacks: One thing that really impressed us was that on every floor there was a mini refrigerator filled with bottle water. Guests can grab water at their own pleasure 24/7. I really appreciate that as I am constantly drinking water and it was super hot outside! In the mornings there were bananas and apples and in the evenings, freshly baked cookies- YUM!
I totally recommend visiting Hutchinson Shores Beach Resort & Spa if you get the chance. It’s such an easy drive from Palm Beach airport and offers a unique, peaceful stay right on the Atlantic! The resort is in close proximity to local events in Jensen Beach area as well. Snorkeling, sailfishing, kayaking, golfing and dolphin tours are just a few locally offered options. Savilla and I actually drove down to Palm Beach one of the days to explore since the drive was so simple! We both had never been so wanted to drive down to shop, explore and eat! We really enjoyed our stay, we loved how peaceful Hutchinson Shores Beach Resort & Spa was. It’s such an easy drive from Palm Beach airport and offers a unique, quaint stay. We hope to bring our husbands back with us one day soon! If you ever visit I would love to know!
