Happy Monday!
It SNOWED in Winston Friday night and all through Saturday. Pat, Ruby and I were snuggled up in our cozy little bungalow because one thing we have learned living in the south-the roads are not treated the same way as up north and people are terrified of snow. The weather was calling for this storm so we knew there was going to be snow this weekend. The one thing Pat and I always forget being down here is that when the “chance of snow” is announced everyone flocks to the grocery stores like we are going to be snowed in for a week. We went to the store after working out on Thursday and there were no eggs, meat, bread, milk, etc. I mean zero. It’s honestly crazy, nothing like you have ever seen before!
That aside, Ruby LOVED the snow. If you follow me on Instagram (@BrittanyAnnCourtney), you probably saw this adorable photo of Bear loving the snow. (Pat jokes she can’t be mine because I hate nothing more than snow!) She was going NUTS, digging into the ground, jumping in the air at the snowballs we threw, running and whipping across the field. We had snow last year for one day, she must have forgotten about it!
Pat, Ruby and I braved the day after and ventured out into the snow to take these photos. Prior to taking these, Pat and I had gone to the gym to work out and there was still hardly anyone on the roads! The weather is calling for temperatures in the single digits tonight, meaning all of the snow will turn to ice, however, this was earlier and nope, not a soul on the roads but us! When we took these photos, Bear was practically ice skating, slipping all over the ice! I’m thankful I didn’t fall and bust my butt! Anyway, how amazing is this leopard coat? I am so bummed that it is sold out, however, I have linked several other ones in the below widget, and above. Leopard anything is always a classic staple for me. This is a coat that can live in my closet for years to come. It’s super thick, super warm, and can be worn with almost everything. If you have solid bottoms on and a simple top-throw this coat on and you’ll instantly look chic!
Hope you’re warm and avoiding the snow,
thanks for stopping by,
xx, Brittany Ann
