Today I am sharing more on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021, how to plan for it and a few of my favorites! The sale is live to those who are Icon & Ambassador Cardholder status. The amount spent at Nordstrom the previous year is what determines your “status”, Icon members have to spend over $15k a year….INSANE! I’ll be shopping on the 16th when the sale opens to anyone that has a Nordstrom card! If you do not have a Nordstrom card, you can shop online July 28th! Sale ends for everyone on August 8th!

If you watch my first Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021 YouTube video–(please watch, like and subscribe 🙂 — You’ll understand pretty quickly that I think a logical approach is necessary when shopping the sale! There are a lot of good items that go on sale but I do think it’s a bit overhyped- I won’t be sharing every single flannel or “trendy” item because I don’t necessarily think they are must have purchases, are worth their price or are absolute needs! Take a look at your wardrobe and identify things you need and see what you did not wear last year. Do not buy things you do not need or items similar to those that you did not wear last year!
I have compiled a few collages on items that have caught my attention and items that I think you can really build your Fall capsule wardrobe from. These are items that I believe work with things you already have in your closet or items that you could restyle and wear over and over again in the coming months! I don’t think you need one of …. everything… lol, be selective! You work really hard for your money, take the time to think about needs and a few wants, not everything!

You can probably tell that oranges and browns are my favorite for Fall. In the past, camels and an orange rust color has been the popular colors but darker browns and a brighter cherry red orange are trending! I love both of these and I think they work well layering with black, camel and creams!

The Fendi Aviators I think are one of the coolest items in the sale but the price tag is steep. Orginally they are $430 and are on sale for $257 which is a great % off, however, not sure if I can justify the splurge. I would love to try them on though, sometimes you can instantly roll something out if you can try it on! They would make for an amazing expensive gift for someone!

The shoes in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is what I look to shop the most. I love investing in good quality pieces that I know will carry me well past several seasons. Last year I bought these booties (last year’s version, very similar) and both black and cognac of this year’s OTK boots (last year’s identical). I wore the heck out of them and you can not tell! They all look so good, I do not have to replace them the year! I do recommend a waterproof spray on the suede boots, we use this from Amazon! I was super disappointed in the sneaker selection in this year’s sale, it’s a big pass for me. I might pick up the converse shoes in the above, but I will not be purchasing any athletic sneakers.

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale can be a great time to stock up on some beauty favorites. Two of my favorite shampoo and conditioner combos are on sale: Olaplex & Caviar. I swear both of them have kept my hair looking voluminous, thick and healthy! I wash my hair about once every 7-10 days, so for me, these sets are worth the price since the bottles can last me 6-8 months. If you wash your hair often, maybe splurge on one of them and alternate them into your rotation to see if you see improvement!
I have the NuBODY Skin Toning Device that I have been using on the back of my thighs and my butt! I haven’t used it constantly enough to report back yet if it’s a total game changer but I know this brand is highly rated and the science behind the micro current device is super interesting.
