Dotted Mini Dress // Design Knot Headscarf // Eye Necklace // Steve Madden Sandals
Hey everyone! Sharing a look from when my friend Savilla and I drove from Hutchinson Shores Resort down to Palm Beach for the day. The drive was only an hour and she and I both had never been to Palm Beach before so we thought we would go for the day and explore. Palm Beach is known for being a beautiful area with lots of luxury shopping and stunning beaches. It was “thee” travel destination spot in the sixties, attracting all celebrities and influentials to vacation here.
I have a couple of friends who have visited Palm Beach and I will say, it seems that going earlier in the Spring time would be a much better time to visit. It was super hot for us, almost sweltering and there weren’t a ton of flowers in bloom like there seems to be much earlier on in the year. I would love to come back but probably would visit more around March and April! We were surprised how “quiet” the town was. Worth Avenue is the iconic shopping street with having every designer label you can think of, and we walked up and down the street and only saw handful of people. We were just really surprised by that!
I wore this cute little polka dot mini when we were walking around. I love a good little mini and polka dots are a print I never tire of! The straps are adjustable which is always nice! This dress is actually on sale for only $20! It’s a STEAL! These knot headscarves are a really trendy this summer and I am loving it. I tied it right over my head but I have also worn it was where I tie it underneath all of my hair, more like a headband! My entire outfit is actually under $100 (not including my bag). My dress is $20, headscarf $16, sandals are $39 & necklace is $10. STEAL you guys, it’s a STEAL 🙂
I hope all of you enjoyed your weekends! Pat and I met my sister in law & brother in law for a dinner and a movie which was really nice. We also went to the pool and hung out with a few friends there! Sunday was housework and meal prepping but it was overall a relaxing day.
xx, Brittany Ann
