Hello, Happy Halloween! I hope you all had a lovely weekend, perhaps out celebrating the holiday? Pat and I had a vey low-key weekend, which was super nice. It was much needed after the traveling I had done in the past ten days!
Today’s top is from a new retailer, Dressfo, that I actually have only recently heard of. The exact top is sold out, but I found a very similar one from them here. Their sizing is a bit different, just really pay attention to the comparable size chart to convert for our standard US sizing. Normally, when
I find an online retailer like this, I tend to jump to a site I am super familiar with, however, I now have several tops and dresses from them, and I must say, I really like their stuff!
I love that this top has a little ruffle detail across the chest and over the arms. If I was to wear this to work or church, I would simply wear a black cami underneath for a more conservative feel. You could keep the accessories the same, I think it really comes down to the coverage through the eyelet blouse if it’s a appropriate or not outside the work place or church.
Speaking of church, Pat and I are looking for one in the Winston Salem area. If you are familiar with the area and know one, let me know! I always find it challenging when you move to a new area to find the church you are looking for right away. Pat and I grew up in a very traditional Presbyterian church, which was nice, however, now we are looking for a more contemporary, modern church! We want to be involved with their youth group or maybe a small group, something for us to meet younger people like ourselves and to give back! We both were tired yesterday so we didn’t find a church to try out so during dinner turned the tv off, turned our phones to silence and while we ate we watched Sunday’s sermon from Pastor Steven Furtick of Elevation church. Have you ever heard of him? His energy and passion is amazing. I listen to his sermons in the car all the time when I am traveling a long distance. I always feel refreshed and energized! You can download the church’s app and everything is right there for you!
