Keeping my teeth white and pearly has always been a focus of mine. I notice people’s eyes first, followed by their smile! A smile is the most genuine way to express how you feel without saying a single word! Maintaining a white and bright smile is easier than ever before. Once ordering your kit online, you’ll receive the mold and some paste to make your impressions. You twist the paste together, fill in the mold and bite into it. I remember in my dentist office of always picking the bubblegum flavor as a kid-this took me down memory lane! This paste doesn’t have a taste, you simply just bite into it, hold, and then remove. Once you have completed both the top and bottom sets, you simply place them in the prepaid envelope and throw it in the mail to be picked up! Smile Brilliant will receive your molds and about 5 days later they will send you your perfected whitening trays! Once you receive them you are good to go- you already have everything else you need because it came in your kit!
The next steps are the actual whitening part. You’ll find your trays in the mouth piece container. Remove one of them and you’ll squeeze the whitening gel along the entire tray. Place in your mouth on your teeth. Repeat the same step except with the bottom tray. You can wear them from 15 minutes to three hours. I have sensitive teeth so I had to work up to longer increments of time.
Once you have had your teeth whitening trays in for the amount of time you have chosen (I keep mine in for about an hour and a half) you’ll want to remove them, rinse them with water and then repeat the same process you had just completed, except you’ll squeeze the desensitizing gel into the trays. You’ll notice right away the desensitizing gel feels super cool on your teeth- this is a good thing! I love this feeling, I feel like the whitening worked and now my teeth are being cooled off! As soon as you try it, you’ll understand what I am talking about!
Once you wear the desensitizing gel on your trays for about 15 minutes you have completed the process! I noticed a difference after the third time I wore them. At this point I was able to wear them for 40 minutes without them bothering my teeth. If I drink ice cold water, that can shock my teeth and hurt them so, some people are more sensitive than others, mine are super sensitive! You might possibly notice a difference after your first time if you are able to keep them in for a good length of time!
