Hi guys! It feels like it has been a while! This past weekend Pat, Ruby and I went back to our hometown to have a big wedding picnic celebration. Our wedding in the Dominican was super small and intimate and we wanted to be able to share stories and photos from the trip with loved ones! It was supposed to rain all day long, however, we got lucky because about an hour into the picnic, it cleared up! Pittsburgh has a “cookie table” tradition- Aunts, friends, mostly women close to the families of the bride and groom will bake several dozen cookies, sometimes 4, 5, 6 different kinds and several dozen each! Everyone brings their cookies and you display them and guest snack on them through out the entire celebration! It’s really cute (and yummy!) and it was so sweet we had so many family members and family friends bake for us! My mom made like 7 different kinds and then made more with her friends! She’s a baking machine!
I shot this look when I was in Savannah with my friend Savilla two weeks ago! I love this blue and white stripe bodysuit. It also comes in a tan and white version here. I actually purchased both because I love pairing body suits with a pair of jeans, jean shorts or a denim skirt. It always feels super feminine to me and I love wearing them! If you have never worn a bodysuit before- try them out! I swear by them! They are so comfortable and I love that there isn’t any bulk from a regular shirt that you try to tuck in!
