Dress from StyleLend (similar here & here) // Wedges // Clutch (similar here & here) // Piñata Earrings (more here) // Mac Lipstick in “Candy Yum Yum“
Happy Monday everyone!
Doesn’t it feel like weekends in the summer just zoom by? Pat and I didn’t even do too much, but wow, here and gone just like that! We tried a different brewery in Winston, SmallBatch and we were able to sit outside with Ruby and our friends before the storm hit later that night. It’s cool that you can check SmallBatch’s website (here) for what beer they have and see the percentage of supply that they have left. I think it’s kind of cool, if you’re a die hard brewery craft beer kind of person, you would probably be over the moon with that!
Have you heard of StyleLend before? I rented this white dress above through them. This mission is to have less of an impact on the environment. “Rent me, save the planet”. It was interesting to learn that fashion is the second biggest polluter in our environment. That when we purchase fast fashion items, we are supporting child labor, materials in clothing that doesn’t decompose, landfill waste, chemicals into oceans and more. They have a really cool concept. When you have an event or a special occasion, we all want to look our best. But how often do we re-wear these items we go out and purchase for this big night? Why not save some money, contribute to a better environment and look amazing?!
It’s super easy to navigate StyleLend. Browse their website to find your perfect piece. It’ll be at your front door in two to three days, if you live in NY it can be there in a few hours (WHAT?! ). The items are yours to keep for a week or two and then once your time is up, you ship it back (free) and the item will be dry cleaned. If the item happens to not fit you, then you don’t pay! I think it’s something different and really cool these women started a company combining their love for fashion and being environmentally conscioutious! Give them a try and you won’t be disappointed!
We took these photos when we were in Charleston. This pink house is actually under construction I can’t wait to go back to Charleston and see what they have done as it it just astounding to look at. I want to meet the original woman who chose the pink color. I mean, it had to be a female that picked the color…am I right?! This house sits right on the battery overlooking the water, just absolutely beautiful! All of my outfit details are linked in the above as well as similar dress options in the below widget. Summer is the perfect time for white dresses to show off your tan!
Thanks for stopping by,
xx, Brittany Ann
