Hi everyone! How is your New Year’s resolutions coming along? Did you set some goals to accomplish in the next few months like Pat and I did? I said on Monday, we always go that route as it seems we can be more focused and accountable in setting goals in a shorter time span and then evaluating progress and redefining them! I have set goals for my fitness level, for weight loss and for creating content here on BrittanyAnnCourtney and over on my instagram! If you haven’t yet decided, be proactive and set goals right now. If you keep saying you are going to start dieting and haven’t, don’t wait until the start of the new week, start right now. Now is always the right time to make changes that will benefit your life!
When we were home in Pittsburgh for Christmas, we took time to visit Pat’s grandparents who live near downtown. I love spending time in any city during the holidays because there is always something that seems so magical. The ice rink at PPG is no exception and is one of my favorite spots during the season. Click on that previous link to see what it looks like at night -it’s stunning! There is a little Christmas market around the corner which is super cute too! The PPG building is an iconic building in the Pittsburgh skyline. It has these castle-like points that can be easily identified. If it looks familiar to you, you may have seen this building in several movies, “Abduction” (hey, Taylor Lautner), “Inspector Gadget” (90s!) & “The Dark Knight Rises”. I love this little part of town and while it was absolutely freezing out when we were walking around, this pretty pink coat and these cute little earmuffs helped in keeping me warm. Plus or minus the hot Starbucks that I had in my hand the whole time too 🙂 My coat is actually on sale for around $85 and I absolutely love it. I received so many compliments walking around, it was kind of nice! Haha! The little toggle details magnetic snaps are really pretty and the faux fur hood is adorable. I know there once was a rule about wearing white from x time to x time but I don’t believe in any of those. I love white jeans all year long and I especially think they are pretty in winter. Pair the jeans with pastel sweaters, creamy turtlenecks and I think your outfit looks so fresh and new. Wear whatever you want whenever you want! Make your own rules!
Thanks for stopping by!
xx, Brittany Ann
